Description: 1,4-Dioxane ultra pure is an aprotic solvent with excellent thermal and chemical stability. It is water-soluble and has a moderate boiling point. The ultra pure version is distilled to a higher purity and has a higher minimum assay.
1,4-Dioxane ultra pure is used as a process solvent in pharmaceutical and fine chemical synthesis. As a reaction solvent it is used for the manufacture of APIs, the synthesis of hormones, and for organometallic or halogenation reactions.
