Description: Ambroxol hydrochloride is a halogenated aromatic compound bound to a cyclohexanol. The substance reduces viscosity peribronchial glandular secretions. In addition, it accelerates the ejection of the mucus (mucociliary clearance) and reduces the symptoms of the disease through antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Therefore, Ambroxol is used in the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, as well as sore throat.
